Finally, finally, finally…I have managed to get myself together and ‘blog’ again!!!

Sheesh, the last 2 weeks have really taken it outta me, but glad to say, I have almost caught up with me kip!!!
Anyway, what is going on in the land I love, Celebville?
Well, the story that has been absolutely dominating the headlines for the last few, has still NOT died down.
The whole Rihanna and Chris Brown fracas has taken on a life of its own.
As we all know, on Feb 8th, the morning of the Grammy awards, there was an altercation between couple Chris and Rihanna which resulted in Rihanna coming off worse!
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding what was the cause of the fight and in some cases people were questioning whether the girl in question was indeed Rihanna.
Well, it seems the latter has been answered.
TMZ.com managed to obtain a photo of Rihanna highlighting all her injuries.
Apparently the photo is unauthorised and as a result, the LAPD have launched an investigation to try to ascertain who ‘leaked’ the photo.
The investigation is definitely a serious one as the police department has a duty to maintain the confidentiality of any victim of domestic abuse.
Not good huh?
I just don’t know what to say about this story anymore….I think on just about every show I do, I refer to this case and how sad it is…it is sad isn’t it?
Let’s hope Rihanna gets better soon and Chris gets the help he seems to need!

The film…Notorious, opened over here in the UK Friday 13th Feb and is still hot on everyone’s lips.

Well, although there have been mixed reviews on it, I think the idea is a fantastic one.
As a fan of the late, great B.I.G, I think to chronicle his life in a movie was a natural and necessary next step to make.
Nearly 12 years after the untimely death of Biggie, the movie Notorious looks at the transition of a teenage drug dealer on the streets of Brooklyn to one of the hottest and inspirational rap stars of his generation.
The making of the movie was authorised by Biggies mom, Voletta Wallace (who is played by Angela Bassett) who felt it was necessary for the world to see not only the positive side of her
son but also the negatives – she wanted it to be a reality check!
His real life son, Christopher Wallace Jnr, plays Biggie as a young un in the film whilst his adult form was brought to life by fellow Brooklyn native, Jamal Woolard.
I am not gonna go to much more into the line up and the story line but would advise you check it out – make your own mind up….
Away from the actual film itself, there has been a lot of ‘he said, she said’ surrounding character portrayals and story lines i.e.… Lil Kim!
She ain’t impressed…not in the slightest.
Kim believes she was portrayed in a bad way.
She was quoted to have said to Hip Hop Weekly: "I've had enough and I'm about to expose them both. ... I've been quiet for a long time."
Ooooer…. Apparently Voletta has basically told Kim to get a grip but by the same token feels if what she is saying about her relationship with B.I.G is true… then she would be open to discuss this with Kim.
Either way, it’s a bit of a situation isn’t init? Not the best – I dunno what to think anymore….!
Solange Knowles has been in the press recently, apparently she was hospitalized after taking too
much medication to treat a cold.
Apparently Solange, ‘twittered’ regularly during her ordeal and in one particular update she claimed she doesn’t know what happened but is as a result, is hooked up to an IV drip!
Anyways, seems like it wasn’t majorly serious and Solange is ok now – we hope!
After a massive scare, Tameka Foster (wife of Usher), has been released from a hospital in Brazil.
It was reported that Tameka suffered a cardiac arrest after undergoing plastic surgery.
This came about whilst she was actually being anaesthetized before planned surgery.
She was revived instantly with the help of a heart massage and then she was placed in an induced coma before being taken into intensive care.
The president of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery has come forward and said liposuction should only be performed on someone after at least 6 to 8 months of being pregnant.
In other words, he feels Tameka undergoing surgery a mere 4 months after giving birth to her youngest son, was just too soon as the body has not had time to repair itself.
Dam….its deep – plastic surgery???
Society has a lot to answer for eh?
Lets hope Tameka is fine and well and truly on the mend.
MC Hammer is back….well sort of.
He has opted to take part in a reality TV series where cameras will follow him, his wife and their 5 kids.
The show is tipped to be called ‘Hammertime’.
Ooooo the irony and the series is scheduled to run 11 half hour episodes.
FYI, this isn’t the first time the ‘Hammer’ has been offered a reality show.
Let’s just hope, the decision to run with it this time, is a good one….
A bit of beef now….and not the edible kind…
Joe Budden and rapper Saigon, seemed to have reignited their beef.
Apparently it started when Saigon took exception to the use of his name in one of Joe’s lyrics a while ago.
It seemed as though both parties got over it and moved on.
Well….. it seemed like that…..until a video appeared featuring Saigon threatening to buss up Joe Budden!!!!

Kanye West wants to get his bits apparently.
Kanye has decided he wants to follow in the footsteps of Big Daddy Kane (he posed for Playgirl back in 1999).
He was quoted to have said in Vibe magazine: ‘I definitely feel like in the next
however many years, if I work out for two months, that I’ll pose naked’!
Oh la la….Kanye naked…..my curiosity definitely gets the better of me fnar fnar.
Just picture for a moment ladies….
Anyways, on that note and with that image in mind, I am gonna sign off for now but promise I will back blogging by end of the week….oooo so much is happening I just aint got the energy right now! LOL
