It’s not a great look for R&B artist, Lyfe Jennings.
It appears his past has caught up with him and as a result, has landed him in the slammer!
It is alleged, yesterday (22nd September 2010) Lyfe was sentenced to three and a half years in prison as a result of apparently breaking into an ex girlfriends house and firing a handgun back in 2008.
After being arrested, apparently he fled the scene and gave rise to a police chase.
He tweeted: This will be my last post. To everyone who gave me a chance I am forever in your debt. I have had a fabulous career because of you [sic]
So, having already done a 10 year stint in the nick prior to becoming an artist and now going back in to do 3 years or so...what waits for Lyfe after jail...only time will tell.
Well, well, well...can’t say I am shocked that the rumour mill eventually turned on the Beckhams, I mean what with Posh being the ultimate WAG and David being...well...David Beckham, it’s nothing more than natural progression!
If you are wondering what I am babbling on about...a high profile prostitute has claimed she had a threesome with David Beckham and another girl at his request!
Naturally, the Beckham camp refute all allegations and have hired some of the world’s top class lawyers to clear their...I mean, his name.
Allegedly, David has called the latest allegations, ‘wholly unfounded’ and ‘malicious’, whilst a close friend believes David is being stitched up.
My question is...why??? Why would there be a need to stitch him up?
I am a little confused, I mean...surely there are other footballers that could be stitched up if need be and... perhaps make for a more believable story, unless...there is some truth to this latest revelation?
Hmmmm, who knows??
What I do know is, InTouch Weekly mag in the States, has run with this story and has it front page, headline news!

More news on my beloved Michael Jackson I’m afraid...
... BUT, its news worth knowing so heeeeey!
Allegedly the Jackson family are suing tour promoters AEG on the grounds that they did not act responsibly in the lead up to his death.
Apparently in the suit which was filed in Los Angeles yesterday, the family claimed AEG did not treat Michael safely even though they were legally obligated to.
It is also alleged, Michael was often disorientated whilst rehearsing but AEG did nothing to keep him out of harm’s way.
It seems the argument here is AEG were more concerned about the huge profit they were set to make off the King of Pop (let’s face it, it would have been HUGE), so much so they had turned a blind eye to his deteriorating physical condition.
As we know, Michael Jackson passed away on 25th June, last year as a result of acute Propofol intoxication.
Understandably, the family would be still grieving their loss and want someone to be held accountable for his death.
To the family, it would seem both AEG and Dr Conrad Murray took Michael from them and quite frankly, I happen to agree.
Without getting into it, if it was clear to us that Michael looked frail and ill whilst going through gruelling, daily rehearsals...why was it not clear to them?
There are still so many unanswered questions and I suppose a lot of them will most probably remain that way but, here’s hoping the family get some kind of closure soon.
Well that’s a name I think we need to familiarise ourselves with...and rather quickly too – it would seem!
If you don’t already know, Willow Smith is the daughter of Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith.
At the tender age of 9 years old, Willow is already causing a massive stir in the industry after her debut single WHIP MY HAIR landed!
(Btw: she has already starred alongside her father in the Hollywood blockbuster movie, I am Legend).
That’s right, your eyes do not deceive you, this IS a 9 year old we are talking about.
Everybody has been talking/Tweeting/Blogging about the single.
Solange Knowles has been singing her praises on Twitter and even rap mogul Jay-Z has been left blown away after hearing the track.
He is convinced Willow is a star in the making and was quoted to have said, ‘I heard the record before I knew it was recorded by a nine year old.I was like, that record is a smash. When I was told it was Will and Jada’s daughter, I was like Woah!’
So there you have it...having already being compared to Michael Jackson and tipped as the next big superstar...what is next for Willow?
Let’s hope the industry doesn’t age her and turn her into another tragic celebrity before she reaches 18!

Okaaaay, so apparently Mike Tyson’s BIGGEST regret in the whole wide world is NOT smoking weed with the late, great, Tupac Shakur who was tragically gunned down in 1996 after watching a Tyson fight in Vegas (ironically).
I kinda see where Mike is coming from, you know...with the whole Tupac thang – true Tupac was a legend and all...but....BIGGEST regret????

After losing his 4 year old daughter, Exodus in a freak accident involving a treadmill last year and declaring himself financially broke back in May, Mike can finally smile again!
Mike is set to become a father for the 8th time as his third wife Lakiha Spicer, is five months preggers!
I know the story broke a couple days ago (excuse me for being on holiday) BUT, I can’t say I’m the least bit shocked...in fact, I am more surprised it took this long for something like this to surface (cast your mind back to the last time he cheated...with the granny – remember)?
Anyways, I won’t bore you with the ins and outs of the story as I am sure everyone is up to speed BUT, apparently, wifey Coleen had agreed to meet with Wayne for crisis talks after initially fleeing to her parent’s home for refuge but, called the meeting off after further revelations of Wayne’s extracurricular activities, surfaced!
More chicks seem to be coming forward with their stories and judging from what I have read, Rooney is a bit of a sleazeball! By that I mean it seems as though he has NO shame when it comes to being on the ‘pull’...check the link below:
Today is Michael Jackson’s birthday...he would have been 52!
Apparently, yesterday a special ‘This Is It’ birthday party took place outside his childhood home in Gary, Indiana.
As part of the celebrations, Michael’s father Joe was set to cut the cake in his honour and a tribute ‘Thriller’ dance was performed by a dance troupe.
A stage production entitled, ‘Yesterday, Today & Forever’ based on Michael’s life took place on Thursday – ahead of the birthday party.
Aaaaah, remembering Michael!
All we need now is for THAT doctor to be convicted....I guess in a strange kind of way, that would be the ultimate birthday present...some kind of justice!
Anyway, it is important to remember that birthdays are exactly that...the day we were birthed into this world.
Although he is no longer of this world...the fact that we had him, is something to be grateful for!
The music, the legacy and his spirit will live FOREVER!

Wow, I cannot believe it has been 9 years to the day since singer, actress, dancer & model Aaliyah (Haughton), departed the earth.
It shocked the world when aged only 22, news flashed across world that Aaliyah had tragically perished in an aeroplane crash which was returning back to the US after filming her music video for hit track, ‘Rock the Boat’.
In the following days, there was a lot of speculation as to the mental state of the pilot...questions circulated as to whether drug or alcohol misuse was a factor in his decision to take off with the plane so heavily loaded.
Many questions...but so few answers!
The fact remained, Aaliyah was gone!
I remember the moment I found out clearly...
I received a call from a close friend that was literally crying down the phone.
She had to repeat herself several times because I was unable to make head or tail out of what she was saying.
When the penny finally dropped...I was beyond shocked!
My mind raced...I wondered if the news had got it wrong...maybe the plane crashed but she survived and was in hospital or maybe, just maybe it was another one of those sick rumours!
No... none of the above!
Following her death, Aaliyah’s third studio album rose to number 1 on the Billboard 200.
‘Rock the Boat’ was released as a single and peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop songs chart...
It was emotional watching the video for the single...it seemed so unfair that such creativity resulted in a loss of life!
Speaking of videos, her acting career was on the up too!
After appearing in a few films including, ‘Romeo Must Die’ and ‘Queen of the Damned’, Aaliyah was ready to appear in several films including ‘Honey’ (Jessica Alba filled in).
Such a shame!
It’s so sad to look back and think what could have been...
I guess the only way to move forward is, to embrace the fact that we had her here on earth, even if only for a short time.
The amazing thing is, we can still appreciate those silky vocals laced with a hip hop edge and the great music videos she inspired us with.
I mean with Obesity on the increase...globally, is this really the sort of thing we should be getting excited about?
The Pizza-Burger has officially launched and is on sale at Burger King in New York NOW!! (Although allegedly, only for a short time)
This monstrosity is nine and a half inches which is the equivalent of 4 Whoppers put together!
It contains a ridiculous 2,500 calories and comes laden with Pepperoni and Mozarella.
Apparently, the burger is designed to share BUT...and here is a big BUT...there may well be people that will buy it and consume a whole one on their own.
For your information: consuming one of these Pizza-Burgers contains double the recommended daily allowance of salt and has in excess of 140g of fat!
Cast your mind back a little bit and see if your memory bank has the ability to forget nonsense...because I actually think mine has – I literally forgot about this ridiculous story...until now!!!
A couple of weeks back, Wendy Lewis age 32, allegedly decided to entertain herself by ‘having a wee wee’ on a war memorial!
That’s right...apparently, she couldn’t hold it!
Before I forget, let me mention...after relieving herself on the Cenotaph, she moved on to performing a sex act on a man nearby!
Maybe that’s why she couldn’t wait....
After being branded ‘Britain’s most disgusting person’ by war veterans, she was due to appear in a Blackpool Magistrates Court for sentencing last week (she was found guilty at an earlier hearing of outraging public decency) but decide to leave after only 20 mins...
Confused as to why???? Don’t worry, so am I!
Anyways, a warrant for her arrest was issued and she was ‘caught’ and detained on Tuesday night and will of course, return to court to be sentenced!
Nasty woman...
If she has such a passion for public urination and sex acts, maybe she could find a pimp that will take her on if she combines the 2 and sells herself as some sort of call girl/prostitute – she could make a mint, couldn’t she?.... just a thought (I do not endorse such behaviour really *lol*)

Well there’s a surprise [Not]... erratic Mercy singer, Shirlena Johnson faces the chop from the reality programme, The X Factor after...wait for it...allegedly, medics claimed she suffers from severe mental illness and is in fact a ticking time bomb (as described by a professional).
Personally, I don’t think mental illness is any laughing matter...
Having covered the subject on the chat show, I understand that many sufferers of mental illness can fly below the radar and go for many years before their illness shows up BUT...in this case, I think it was patently obvious something was not 100% right with Shirlena from the outset.
She took to the stage in a bizarre ensemble and proceeded to deliver her interpretation of Duffy’s classic, Mercy in a manner one can only describe as strange.
Not only was her the singing mortifying, her whole presence on stage made me feel a bit uneasy – to be honest.
This woman was not together!
Maybe it was the way she desperately declared she was a single mom of one daughter called Mariah, claimed she had been singing since age 18 and that she felt it was time to give her daughter the life she deserved or, maybe it was just something in her eyes...whatever it was, I think we all knew!
When Simon declared ‘It was like musical exorcism, I have to say I love you – you’re completely crazy, but I like that. You are fantastically nuts’ [sic], the crowd roared with approval but I don’t think Simon himself realised how close he had come to the truth – or maybe he did!
The irony is, in the following days, Shirlena herself admitted to a daily newspaper, that she believes she is a little bit nuts and is definitely possessed with something [sic]
Hmmmmmm....not good!
So, what happens next?
Do they quietly let Shirlena leave the programme and attempt to slip back into obscurity with help and guidance or do they let her carry on and risk sending her over the edge and subsequently losing her daughter?
She seems like a lovely lady that cares deeply for her daughter, so let’s hope she gets what she deserves.
A little part of me, wants to think the whole zany display on Saturday was just for show....I would like to believe that BUT somehow, I think she was for real.

We kicked off talking about a recent news article that questioned whether a headmasters decision to ban school girls from wearing tight black trousers to school, was just!
Although the trousers were full length and black (as outlined in the uniform criteria), it was claimed the trousers were unsuitable for school because they left a visible underwear line (VPL).
The general census was, yes – the headmaster was right to ban the trousers if they were deemed to be unsuitable for school.
We went on to ask whether people thought there was a need for school uniform...
Again, the overall response was yes, with most believing that the pros of having school uniform included:
-Children in school uniform tend to take school and their studies a little bit more serious
-School uniforms help to maintain a level of discipline
-There are less arguments and fights because uniform eradicates disputes over fashion
-Wearing school uniform offers a sense of belonging.
Judging by some of the messages we received, most people seemed to think that those that don’t wear uniform tend to focus less on their academics as they are too busy worrying about who has the latest trainers or jeans.
It was also suggested, most school pupils would not know how to dress appropriately to go to school, so having uniform makes life easier all round.
In the second half of the show, we moved on to discuss fashion trends and whether what we wear is controlled by the media.
We talked about the fact that there are some people that are slaves to fashion and literally have to have the latest everything because it was either worn by a celeb or recommended as a must have in one of the weekly glossy mags!
We wanted to know how much influence the media actually has...
To help us explore this, we were join by Fashion Guru, Ntiedo from www.mytailoredsuit.co.uk (check out the site, now, now, NOW)!
Ntiedo agreed with the fact that the media does influence what we wear but strongly advised us to be mindful of what actually suits us and not just run with what we think looks good.
Ntiedo also encouraged people to be individual in their style.
We all agreed that although there are some trends that you can’t resist... it pays to be a trendsetter.
Be confident and overall know what works well with you obviously taking into account, your size and shape etc...
After an interesting debate mixed in with a few choice tracks, we finished up with some motivational quotes, one of which was:
