It is alleged, Michael Jackson’s supposed love child, Omer Bhatti, is currently living with MJ’s 3 other kids at the family home in California.
Not only has he decided he wants in…he has added Michael as his middle name and has instructed the kids to call him Michael! Strange eh?
Well in true Mijac fashion, it gets even stranger…Omer has even suggested that he is the children’s real father!!!
If that’s not enough bizarreness for ya…apparently the syringe that administered the fatal dose of drugs to MJ, is due to go on sale…that’s right, a dirty syringe…on sale!
Oh wait…well it is Michael Jackson’s syringe I hear people cry…bottom line…that to me is plain SICK!!!!
Naturally the family is not happy about the syringe being obtained secretly and that people are still trying to milk Michael for all they can get…even in death!
Meanwhile, the guy that possesses the needle is trying his best to confirm the needle is legitimate. He has been meeting with his legal team regularly and is also considering his options on where to sell!
What a joke…let’s hope the needle doesn’t turn around and prick his backside….evil little man!
Finally, in Michael Jackson related news…his estate has signed the biggest recording deal in history not even a year after his death!
Since Michael’s passing, he has gained popularity with a whole new generation.
These new fans, plus the old ones definitely mean more sales and the $250 million deal for up to 10 recordings by 2017, confirm this!
The deal, gives Sony practically full control of his back catalogue and any unreleased tracks.
According to TMZ.com, Michael left enough material for 3 albums of brand new music and apparently, we can expect the first to arrive around November… (yaaaay).
Once again, Michael has done it again…he has raised the bar in the music industry.
John Branca who is one of the executors of Michael’s estate is quoted to have said: "Michael's contracts set the standard for the industry. By all objective criteria, this agreement with Sony Music demonstrates the lasting power of Michael's music by exceeding all previous industry benchmarks."
Round of applause for JLS…looks like they are moving stateside (well music wise anyways)…
It has been confirmed that Rihanna will team up with JLS to work on a single and she believes that with Jay Z’s help, they will be a massive hit in the US.
I have to say, I am inclined to agree…I think JLS do have the potential to be the next big boy band.
I also sense a queue forming…Beyonce, Kanye…maybe GaGa??? All in line to work with JLS??? Well it’s just what they do init???? LOL
Anyhoooos…good luck to JLS and isn’t it great the UK is solidifying their position in the music world? We have so much to offer…it’s about time the rest of the world took note!
Can’t believe today…13 years ago to the day, Christopher Wallace aka Biggie Smalls aka Frank White aka The Notorious B.I.G was shot at in a drive by shooting, as he sat in a truck waiting at a red light after leaving a party.
Biggie, who was in the passenger seat was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead in the early hours of the morning.
Dead??? Could it really be???
Questions and speculations spiralled out of control…most pointing to the East coat – West coast feud as the sole reason behind the slaying.
Whatever the story was, the harsh reality was clear…Biggie was dead!
Raised in Brooklyn during the 80’s when Crack was gripping the community, Biggie managed to rise up through his drug dealing and become one of the most successful rappers ever!
His debut album Ready to Die, dropped in 1994 and it was simply onwards and upwards from there.
After appearing on tracks such Mary J Blige’s, Real Love and working closely with Puff Daddy (as he was at the time), Biggie was Bad Boy!
So what went wrong?
Why did it end the way it did?
So many unanswered questions even up to today…
One thing is for sure, Biggie’s legacy still lives on through his music and in his words.. you’re nobody, til somebody kills you!!!
So let’s remember Biggie for the HUGE talent he was…
I was joined byFlorence Acquahfrom the Brent NHS screening programme and boy did we chat!
We covered just about every aspect of Chlamydia there is to cover.
Firstly we outlined the fact that Chlamydia is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections in the world!
Chlamydia is transferred through bodily fluids and even a pregnant mother with Chlamydia, can infect her baby.
The most disturbing part is the fact that Chlamydia often shows NO symptoms!
That’s right, the infection can be in your body for weeks, months, even years before you realise and the only sure fire way to find out, is to have a simple Chlamydia test!
Although in a lot of cases Chlamydia does not display itself, there are occasions when it does.
Florenceand I discussed these symptoms and informed that in fact, the symptoms are different in men and women.
Let’s look at women first:
Possible symptoms include:
Bleeding after sex
Vaginal discharge
Pain/bleeding during sex
Bleeding between/heavier periods
Lower abdominal pain
Cystitis
For guys:
Pain in the testicles
An unusual discharge
Pain when passing urine
So as you can see, there may be some signs but to reiterate, quite often there are none!!!!
In any case, any of the above symptoms should be investigated as they may well be pointing to other health related issues.
Another point worth noting is the fact that Chlamydia can affect the eyes, throat and rectum – not pleasant eh?
Well, all the above is true… if Chlamydia is in the throat – again there may not be any symptoms to indicate this.
Chlamydia in the rectum could be very uncomfortable with itching and swelling present, whilst Chlamydia in the eyes presents itself as conjunctivitis – again…not something to be ignored!
During the show, we looked at the causes of Chlamydia and as it is a sexually transmitted infection, it is passed through any form of intimate contact including: unprotected oral, anal or vaginal sex, sharing sex toys or any form of genital contact.
If you are unlucky enough to get infected vaginal fluid or semen in your eyes…again, the infection may be passed on to you.
Another important note is that, in most cases it is very simple to determine whether one has Chlamydia or not…a simple urine test.
Gone are the days when a swab was the only way to check (although in some cases, it may still be necessary).
Chlamydia tests are available at GUM/sexual health clinics, pharmacists and of course, you can have a word with your doctor if you need additional advice.
Generally Chlamydia tests are free (unless you buy the kit directly from a pharmacist) if you go through the clinics or doctors but you may have to pay for any necessary prescriptions unless you are an NHS patient.
I guess now would be great time to mention, if you between the ages of 15-24 and live in Brent, you can in fact get a free Chlamydia test, free treatment if required AND AND AND a£10 HMV voucher just for doing the test!
I personally think ALL 15-24 should get a test, especially if it’s free!
There is absolutely NO reason why you shouldn’t…it would equal peace of mind and if you were diagnosed with having Chlamydia, a simple course of antibiotics would clear you up and you would be on your way!!!
NO EXCUSES – know your status!!!!
In fact, let me rephrase, not only ALL 15-24 year olds should know their status ALL sexually active people should.
Every time you have a new partner….check yourself out!
Again…peace of mind counts for a lot!
My final word on Chlamydia would have to be one that stresses the importance of knowing your status.
Both Florenceand I highlighted the fact that, if left untreated, Chlamydia in women can lead to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) and inflammation of the Cervix.
Also, if you have Chlamydia whilst pregnant, the infection can cause miscarriage or premature birth.
In guys, Chlamydia can cause Urethritis which is inflammation of the Urethra which is the urine tube in the penis. If left alone, this can affect the urine flow and ultimately damage kidneys because of the pressure involved.
Sperm can also be affected.
If inflammation in or around the testes occur, sperm can be damaged.
Chlamydiacan leave you infertile!
I think the bottom line here peeps is….USE CONDOMS and TAKE REGULAR CHECK UPS!!!
If you can’t do the above….ABSTAIN from sex!!!!
