Wow, yet another week has stormed by… I just cant keep up anymore – although I have to say, I do tend to get an overwhelming sense of excitement when I look at the clock on a Friday afternoon and it reads 16.00…why???? Well its obvious, I get to leave the office and its politics behind for a couple of days!
Groh, I tell ya, this week has been a hive of activity at work, Monday starts off hard (as usual) and by the end of Tuesday, someone has hacked me off!
This week, someone decided to grass on me about my mobile phone going off ‘too often’ at work – MY MOBILE PHONE!!!I mean WTF but for starters, my mobile is on discreet so you couldn’t possibly hear it ring which suggests only one thing – you are clocking mah ish and secondly….how old are you??? Frig, I left school a while ago now – whats with the ‘grassing’?? Oh, maybe I just forgot to enter the competition that aims to see how far you can get on the bosses arse – its crazy!!!
Anyway, for the rest of the week, me and my mate have been shooting little jibes in her direction – girl needs to get a life and recognise- truss me, what we are doing isn’t hardcore enough to call it bullying – its merely a light reminder of the fact that she is one helluva sad chick!

Anyways…..thats my little rant over – whats being happening with these celebs?

Kanye West has announced he is going to tour Europe to promote his album 808 & Heartbreak, which I personally have to say is a heavy album!
The tour is set to start in summer and finish up back in the states around Autumn time…..gonna keep me ears open for the London dates fa sho!

Kanye has spoken about the tour and suggested he is gonna give it a ‘theatrical edge’!
He was quoted to have said, ‘I like the challenge of having to win over people with a new concept’.
So….looks like the circus is set to come to town!

On top of that, Kanye will be headlining at the Wireless Festival set to take place in Hyde Park in July and I do believe tickets for this event have already gone on sale!
Lets hope the weather holds up – you know what English weather is like…..?


From one ROC to another…Damon Dash (did you like that) huh huh? LOL
Damon Dash has been given his marching orders by his wife – she has served him with divorce papers.
The couple were married in 2005 and have two daughters together but it seems like she has come to the end of the road with him.

This is another kick in the teeth for Damon who seems to be suffering from a bout of misfortune especially in the financial department.

Apparently he is in a fair amount of debt due to bad business deals and more recently, it was claimed he was unable to make payment for his SUV thus resulting in an order for the city to seize the vehicle, being made!

Not a good look for a music mogul huh?


Chris Brown and Rihanna are up the news again…apparently a source has given some inside information to US Weekly claiming the reason Chris and Rihanna have taken a break is because, Jay-Z said so!!!!
That’s right, Jay-Z has told Rihanna she basically needs to ‘hold it down’ at least in public.

So apparently, they have not broken up…its all just for show!
Well I could have told you that!!!!

Tyrese has had his say on the whole ‘Chrianna’ affair – he says that Chris, who happens to be a good friend of his, is having a hard time dealing with the aftermath of the allegations.

Tyrese told People.com, ‘ It’s really taking a toll on his spirit’.
He went on to say, ‘At the end of the day, I'm not trying to justify it because wrong is wrong, but unfortunately, us as entertainers, we have to grow up on stage with a lot of people looking at us. And a lot of people forget that he's 19, she's only 21."

Apparently Rihanna has confirmed she is back with Chris but is not ready to go public yet as she fears her loyal fans will turn on her….hmmmmmm.

Pepa aka Sandy Denton from Salt n Pepa has been talking to Essence.com and has declared she can relate to what Rihanna is going through as in her book, ‘Lets talk about Pep’, she claims she suffered years of verbal and physical abuse from her ex husband, Treach of Naughty by Nature.
Pepa, told Essence, Rihanna deserves better.

Damn –that’s deep, what…..? Me and my girls adored Treach back in the day – maybe we were just silly little school girls that needed a good talking to then huh???

In other Rihanna related news, apparently Rihanna has been in talks with industry executives about various film projects (seems like its all go from now on eh)?

One of the rumours is based around the possibility of Rihanna starring in a remake of the 1992 blockbuster movie, The Bodyguard.

Naturally, her camp have come forward and tried to dispel all rumours and claim, Rihanna has not been in talks with any execs about any movie which then spawned yet another rumour claiming, Rihanna was in NY because she has totally finished with Chris and wanted to get away to clear her head….!

Jade Goody has been all over the news for the last few …naturally,
As we know, Jade is literally dying of terminal cancer.
Apparently, a bit of a ‘who ha’ has been made because OK magazine has decided to go ahead with a tribute to Jade even though she is still alive!
OK have confirmed Jades family are backing the decision to publish 100% and actually think its very kind.
It’s a tough one, because on one hand it could be seen as if she has died already but on the other, it shows her how much people actually care and will in fact miss her when she is gone.
It is so, so sad, really it is!!!


Still fresh from his split with Madonna, Mr Madonna erm…I mean Guy Ritchie is now being linked to supermodel, Elle Macpherson.
The latest revelation is is sure to get Madges muscles bulging!
Apparently, the pair were spotted having a cosy dinner together in Notting Hill the other night… who knows, they could have been chatting about film roles!!!!!


Beyonce will be gracing the cover of the April Vogue issue – how fab is that?
Inside the mag, Beyonce talks about various things including singing for the President and of course her famous curves.

Moving on to Lil Kim or shall I say the Notorious K.I.M… well she has revealed she maintains a spiritual connection with the late, great BIG who was of course, her former lover.
You may or may not know, Kim is taking part in Dancing with the Stars and ironically, her first performance took place on 9th March which happens to be the anniversary of Biggies death.
Kim spoke to rapradar about various different things including her dislike for the movie Notorious.

When asked whether she feels BIG would have like the movie, she was quoted to have said: ‘I’m a very spiritual person and he’s come to me many of times in my dreams. But, I don’t think he’s happy at all, at all’!

She went on to say; ‘Biggie was so much more than what they put him out to be in that movie. And to be honest with you, I know for a fact he’s not happy. He’s not satisfied at all. At all. And regardless of the fact, everybody who is involved in this movie, he has love for. Everybody. But at the end of the day, he knows who’s who and what’s what’.

Still sticking with Biggie for a minute, P Diddy has revealed that one of the skits on Biggies album ‘Ready to die’ is in fact the real deal.
The skit referred to, is one where the sounds of oral sex can be heard.
Diddy claims he wanted the skit to be authentic so made sure it was just that by having one of his friends deal with Biggies matter (so to speak)!

Sorry did any know (because I never), Case actually shot himself in the throat!!!Yep, that’s right, the ‘touch me, tease me’ singer, accidentally shot himself in the throat.

Apparently he was moving the gun in question so his kids couldn’t see it and the hair trigger went off!

Anyways, when he finally came round the first thing he did was try to sing….naturally.
If that wasn’t enough, Case then started having problems with label Def Jam and ultimately decided to leave and go independent.

After 6 years, Case feels ready to bounce back on the scene.
His first independent album is called ‘The Rose Experience’ and reflects on his alter ego….Blaxel Rose (you fill in the blanks) lol.
Case says he is showcasing different sides to his personality on this album and feels, he is ready to rock again…

Coolio….well – as we know, he’s been a very silly boy.
He has been charged with possession of Crack Cocaine and battery.
Coolio has been released on bail but is due back in court to face charges in April.
This is not the first time Coolio has come face to face with the dread Crack Cocaine.
Apparently early on in his career he began abusing but claimed he was clean after a stint in rehab.
Well…. seems it is not the case because he got nabbed again!
Not a good look Coolio!
Coolio has had to cancel shows in Australia as a result of his ‘silliness’ and actually faces up to 3 years if convicted.

Keyshia Cole’s sister Neffe, is up the duff again – this time with her fifth child.

If you have been watching the series on BET, you will be very familiar with Keyshia and her sister.

Apparently, the sister and her baby daddy (groh), have claimed they were taking the right precautions….
The new baby will be the couples first but as we already know, Neffe has several other children from different relationships.
Neffe simply says she loves children!Well lets blimmin well hope so!!!

The motive behind the company using Obama to endorse the product was not intended to be racist but to merely come across trendy as Obama symbolises hope!
The company wanted to jump on the Obama bandwagon and felt this was the perfect way to do so.

The sales manager for the company was enlighten to the fact that linking fried chicken to Black people could be viewed as offensive by Americans.

Blimey its been nearly 2 weeks since I last blogged ….my my my, doesn’t time fly when you are having fun and yes….fun is exactly what I have been having, its been non stop. Well I guess it’s only right to kick off the blog with the news of the month…no scrap that…year!It has been confirmed, it is official… Michael Jackson will be gracing our shores for the final time this summer.
Michael has announced that the ‘This Is It’ tour will run for a minimum of 10 show dates at London’s O2 this coming summer.
Tickets are due to go on sale to those that have pre registered, this Friday (13th March) and it is a case of, ‘get there quick because those tickets will go like hotcakes’.

Personally, I will be in attendance and have to say, I am looking forward to it although I must admit, I am wondering how he is gonna pull off those moves we all know and love him for…..who knows – he may just surprise us all.

Speaking of surprises, ole Mijac, did in fact give the staff at the Lanesborough hotel in Hyde Park (the hotel he is staying at in London) a bit of a shock.
Apparently Michael was wondering around the hotel and appeared drunk!!!Yup…you heard…drunk!
His camp was quick to dismiss these rumours and claimed Michael was merely jetlagged and couldn’t sleep due to nerves at the prospect of having to perform again.

Nerves???? If he has nerves now, only God knows what sort of state he will be in come July – hee hee!



The Chris Brown and Rihanna saga still continues on.
Apparently Chris has been charged with assault likely to cause bodily harm and making criminal threats.
His arraignment has been postponed until April but if convicted of the 2 felonies, Chris could face up to 4 years in the slammer!

According to an LA police detective, Chris and Rihanna’s argument steamed from a text Chris received from an ex. It was as a result of this argument the alleged fight broke out which apparently included Chris continuously punching and threatening her as well as taking a bite at her ear and her fingers.
Apparently Chris also put her in a headlock which nearly made her pass out – ooooooer deep eh?
Well it actually gets deeper…
Again, apparently the night Rihanna was attacked, she told police it was not the first time Chris had been abusive towards her.
She claimed he had done it plenty of times and each time the attacks were getting worse and worse (no surprises there)…,.
And here is the absolute killer (scuse my use of words), it is alleged; Chris actually retaliated against Rihanna after she took off her shoe and beat him with it in response to the text she saw…
Phew – I don’t even know what to say about this story anymore so let’s move on…..



Toni Braxton has got her pram out…
Apparently she is on the verge of suing a South American promoter who used a Toni look alike to pass as Toni herself for a show.
When show goers clocked it was not the real Toni, uproar broke out and bottles amongst other things, were thrown on the stage.

The look alike (who I actually feel sorry for) claims she was hired to do an imitation of the singer and did not know there was any foul play involved – awwww

A criminal investigation is underway but the promoter and his assistant have disappeared – hmmmmmmmmmmmm!



I think Nas needs a little bit of props in this blog because; he has teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to fulfil the dream of a 13 year old boy.

The youngster has been diagnosed with a form of muscular dystrophy that usually kills the individual by their 20’s – so sad!
The young boy was flown to LA to watch a Nas concert last week and went backstage to meet him afterwards.

So cool – good on you Nas!

Still sticking in Nas’ world- the rumour mill is going off again and apparently, a well placed source has reported, Nas and Kelis are on the verge of divorce!

She is preggers and well…. It just doesn’t seem to be happening does it?

It’s not the first time they have apparently ‘broken up’ – but according to the source, this is it!

I bet he feels rather daft now with that big ole tattoo on his arm eh? Then again, there is speculation another chick is involved so who knows…..

Apparently he has decided he wants to step away from music and focus purely on his acting career.

Lil Wayne is laughing right about now because he has been freed of felony drug charges in Atlanta.

It was alleged, police found unmarked bottles of hydrocodone, Xanax and marijuana at a hotel but the Judge dismissed the case on the basis, the search was illegal and the rapper was not actually in the room where the arrest was made!

Weezy still has to face a weapons charge going back to 2007 and drug charges from an arrest in January 2008…..so I guess it’s a case of, don’t celebrate too hard yet Wayne!
